Auslogics Registry Cleaner is a simple, yet powerful registry cleaner for Windows. It comes with some useful tools and features such as an automatic registry backup function, and a 1-click cleaning button as well. The interface is well designed and is easy to use due to its simple design and a lack of overly complicated settings. Key Features include: Supports 32 and 64 bit version of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Varied Registry error search criteria includes quick launch and desktop shortcuts, help files and file extensions, app events and startup programs. A registry scan can be paused and later resumed anytime. Located errors are displayed in a group with other errors, including File Associations, Recent Documents, History Lists, or Missing Software problems. Registry errors can be opened in Registry Editor by right-clicking it in the scan results window. Registry backups can be set to occur each time you fix errors. The app is straightforward to use. It has a fast installation and has a handy 1-click cleanup button. Simply click the Scan button to begin scanning your registry(if you need to pause or cancel the scan you can). As soon as you have scanned and fixed your Windows system Registry, you are presented with with a well formatted report of what the app has fixed. From here, you can choose what to repair, if anything, and the app will attempt to rectify any issues that have been located.
Registry Finder
Registry Finder is an innovative little utility program designed, surprisingly enough, to help you find stuff in the registry. But it does more. Registry Finder is also a straightforward and simple registry editor. It has all the same functionalities of the basic system RegEdit but has a lot more up its sleeve. As well as being able to browse the local registry, you can also create and delete values, and also rename keys. It's also possible to modify values such as string, multi-string, DWORD etc. You can also open multiple registry windows that will reopen on the same registry keys as when you closed it, which is good in the event of a reboot or crash. Searching the registry is quick and efficient, and all found items are displayed in separate windows in a list, with each line representing its own single match of the search criteria. A handy icon also shows exactly where the match occurred. It's also possible to jump straight to any found results in the Registry window and crucially, delete or edit them directly within the same window. The software also supports searching for so called 'hidden registry keys' i.e. the ones with null characters in the name, which are not accessible with RegEdit. The replace feature is also handy in that it makes replacing individual or multiple occurrences within a string easy to do. Importantly, the replacements are only performed in items within the Results window you are working from. Thankfully any operations undertaken within Registry Finder including deleted strings can be undone and redone. Every change you make is recorded in a 'History Window,' which is easily accessible from the main menu, with the last action carried out marked with a small yellow arrow for ease of reference. Registry Finder also has a number of good command line parameters that can be used to customize behavior. You don't have to install Registry Finder to use it, and can be ran from either USB or on the hard drive itself. The binaries contain both 32 and 64 bit versions so you don't need to choose one or the other. You also need elevated privilege to run Registry Finder, and can't use it if User Account Control is on. A final nice touch is that should Registry Finder crash, the developer wants to know all about it, and also appreciates feedback of nay kind, but advises that you should only be using the latest version, which is fair enough, we think. Key Features: Comprehensive registry finder and editor. Good tools. Useful Command lines. Undo and redo functionality. Freeware. Not for casual users. The Registry Finder utility is released as Freeware, which is always nice, which means you can share it with anyone as long as you don't charge for it. Registry Finder also works with Windows from XP all the way up to Windows 10. If you've just read all the above and are scratching your head or have only understood part of it, this utility probably isn't for you. Registry Finder is aimed at people who understand and know what they are doing. Don't go mucking about with your computer's registry settings unless you do actually know what you are doing!

AutoScreenCap is a lightweight Windows app that can help you automatically take screenshots at a user-defined time. Key Features include: Portable version. Intuitive layout . It has an intuitive layout that gives you the possibility to start or stop the capturing process easily. You can take snapshots at a user-defined time, specify the target location, start taking snapshots at startup, along with some good configuration options that let you automatically hide the main window of the utility. All screenshots are, by default, exported to JPG file format and you can then adjust the JPG quality. In addition, you can also open the directory where the images are stored directly from the primary panel. If you need a simple, easy to use app that has some basic functionality and can automatically take screenshots at customized timeframes, then AutoScreenCap might be worth a peak.

It feels quick and intuitive to use and has a solid base around professional accounting principles, therefore it is able to provide balanced books and accurate reports. Overall, GnuCash is well presented and contains a diverse array of accounting features such as multiple currency support, double entry accounting and invoicing. On the downside, the integrations with tax software comes up short, however it can support some online banking services.

Overall, Auslogics Boost-speed provides various tools to improve your system's overall speed and performance, along with protecting your privacy and optimize your OS. The downside is the interface. Although it provides you with lots of information about your system, it is not clear and looks cramped. The navigation is not as crisp as we would like to see in a product like this. That being said, if you can get around the look of the app, then it does provide some good tools to cleanup and optimize your system. *Supports XP to Windows 10.

DiskMax is a powerful disk clean and Windows performance optimization app. After running it your system can be optimized; apps will launch faster, files will open quicker, and games will run better. Key Features include: Automates emptying your recycle bin (if specified), cleaning up of installation remnants, and debugging information. Cleans up every user's History, Temp, Temporary Internet Files, Cookies (if specified), Recently opened documents list, explorer thumbnail cache and windows error reporting logs. Clears out Windows cache, unused legacy cursors (on Vista, if specified), debugging info, internet logs, help center caches, repair information, DLL caches, Logs, temporary files and windows update roll-back files. Cleans up after Vista SP1/SP2 install and Windows 7 SP1 install (if specified). Removes registry entries for multiple Most Recently Used lists. Clears out Windows event logs (no other application out there does this). Gives you the option to deep scan your hard-disk to remove all files of type log, old, prv, chk, swp, bak, gid, wbk, tmp and dmp. This is only intended for advanced users. Rearranges files around so that they can be accessed faster. The app is fairly straightforward and has a standard interface. DiskMax has four scan buttons: ‘Quick,’ ‘Standard,’ ‘Detailed’ and ‘Complete.’ There is also a check box to clear saved preferences. The app has more cleaning options to choose from as you navigate through each of the cleaning scans. DiskMax has been designed to be navigated by users of all levels of expertise, from novice to expert. Overall, DiskMax is a handy tool to have. It is fast, safe, and effective, both for daily cleaning and for less-frequent, deeper cleaning tasks.
